These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Annseraf website at annseraf.com (the "Site"), operated by Annseraf ("Annseraf," "we," "us"), a sole proprietorship based in Buffalo, New York, USA. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Site is

The Site is informational: it describes Annseraf's consulting services and the products we build and operate, and provides a way to contact us. The Site itself has no accounts, purchases, or subscriptions.

2. Consulting engagements

Submitting the contact form or emailing us is an inquiry, not a contract. Consulting engagements — scope, deliverables, timeline, and payment terms — are governed by a separate written agreement (proposal and/or statement of work) signed by both parties before any work begins. These Terms do not themselves create an obligation for Annseraf to perform work or for you to pay for it.

3. Our products

VocalData (vocaldata.tech) and RentYourCompute (rentyourcompute.com) are products built and operated by Annseraf, but each runs on its own domain under its own terms of service and privacy policy, which govern your use of that product. These Terms cover the annseraf.com Site only.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Site to:

  • violate any law or the rights of others;
  • send spam, distribute malware, or conduct denial-of-service attacks;
  • attempt to gain unauthorized access to Site systems or data;
  • scrape or harvest data from the Site at scale without our written permission.

5. Intellectual property

The Site's text, design, and branding are owned by Annseraf unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce or redistribute them without permission, beyond normal browsing and sharing links.

6. Disclaimers

THE SITE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

7. Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ANNSERAF IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE. This limitation does not apply to obligations under a signed consulting agreement, which are governed by that agreement's own terms.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Erie County, New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
